Balls for a quartz (ball) sterilizer are a special filler, without which it is impossible to perform heat treatment of manicure, pedicure, hairdressing and cosmetology instruments. They are poured into the working capacity of the sterilizer, where they are heated to high temperatures (160-200 degrees Celsius), which are detrimental to pathogenic and fungal flora (viruses, infections, fungi). Instruments immersed vertically in the ball filler are thermally affected and sterilized within 15-20 seconds. Processing in a strictly vertical position prevents their damage, and the absence of interaction with water eliminates the risk of corrosive changes. The replacement of the ball filler should be carried out at least once every 6-12 months (the period depends on how intensively the sterilizer is used).
